The stress at the workplace is common and is increasing. The American Institute of Stress, in 2019, reported that about 85% of employees in the United States suffer from related work stress, which costs employers approximately 300 billion a year, of which more than one third is intended for only treatment of depression.
Today also in Italy there is a growing awareness by employers about the importance of adopting corporate welfare programs for employee health.


Michele Antonelli, doctor of the Department of Medicine and Surgery, Institute of Public Health, University of Parma and Terme di Monticelli (PR), points out on the possibilities for the use of forest therapy practices, ranging from prevention, primary and secondary of chronic pathologies, to all conditions in which stress plays an important role, up to strengthening the immune system.

CSEN National Forest Bathing Sector is building a network of companies interested in offering their employees health promotion programs.
The employees of the participating companies will benefit from various sports, naturalistic, scientific, cultural and artistic activities carried out in the forest by qualified professionals, recognized by the Lombardy Region in the context of the Natural Bio Disciplines.
These are infraweekly paths, organized in collaboration with the accommodation facilities of the Network at the hotelHi. aiming at the welfare of workers. Science confirms that the regular practice of specialist, individual or group activities, such as Meditation and Forest Bathing/Shinrin Yoku, promote communication, teamwork, increase creativity, energy, stress resistance and consequently productivity: qualities that support the success of the enterprise.
