Tanabata It is the feast of star lovers Vega and Altair, who in that only summer night can finally realize the dream of being together. Tanabata in fact means seventh night, and indicates the feast day on the seventh night of the seventh month, according to the ancient lunar calendar of Japan.
During the Tanabata everyone has the opportunity to express their desires: the custom wants them to be written on colored paper banners to hang on the branches of bamboo trees, with the wish that come true with the same speed with this vigorous tree which grows tall and straight towards the sky.
