IMMERSION IN THE SILENT FOREST – Discovering the Noble Silence

There is a place in Casentino that for centuries has been synonymous with operosity and silence. The nature reserve of Camaldoli is a unique place that owes much of its current structure to the operosity of the Camaldolesi monks who for centuries have "cultivated" in a sustainable way the prince of the forest or the white fir.

The rule of Benedictine monks "now et labora" finds its natural application on the Maldoli Campus (from here the name Camaldoli) thanks to the majesty of its imposing fir-trees that seem to want to establish a direct connection with the sky, as a huge cathedral.

In this context we will try to favor moments of immersion aimed at maintaining the Noble Silence, minimizing the production of noise and entering us gently in an unspoilt natural environment, respecting its integrity and minimizing the signs of our passage.
