Perceiving the beat of nature, in the heart of the great city, reconnects us to the harmony of life we are part of. Looking, listening, exploring the Beauty that is within and around us, opens us to the wonderful experience. The wonder sometimes happens spontaneously, others arrive unexpectedly but, in everyday life, it must be cultivated and sought, because it needs space to manifest itself.

"To rediscover Beauty" is a traveling project of Forest Bathing Urbano that takes place in the parks of Rome, to allow everyone to benefit from contact with Nature and to dedicate a space to themselves, to relationship with others and to wellness, individual and collective.

Dive into urban forests is a way to train gratitude over what we have at hand and often we do not see and help us find the Beauty we are and which we are part of.

During the course will be proposed sensory activations and other practices of creative connection, centering and awareness of the Forest Bathing.

🌳WHAT IS THE FOREST BATHING

The forest immersion (Shinrin Yoku or Forest Bathing) is a multidisciplinary, multi-faceted and multipurpose activity carried out in the woods through the practice of sports, holistic and bio-natural disciplines. It is a practice of well-being that aims to promote a healthier life and in connection with nature. According to experts the forest bath brings benefits to our body and psyche, thanks to the effect of monoterpenes, aromatic substances released from the leaves of the trees and phytocides, essential oils present in the wood, which the trees release in volatile mode.

This experience is aimed at all. There is no need for special preparation or prior knowledge, but only for love for nature, the desire to walk and experience.
