National Sector Forest Bathing CSEN, in collaboration with Technical Advisors of Forestry Wellness and qualified together PEFC Italy, can provide owners of forest areas the possibility of getting a certificate of fitness of the forest wellness area in line with the PEFC ITA 1001 – SE:2021 and the practice of the Forest Bathing.
Thanks to this service, the owner will be able to value its area as an ideal place for experiences of Forest Bathing, slow tourism and outdoor activities for improving psychophysical well-being.
Who is CSEN Forestry Wellness Technician?
The CSEN Forestry Wellness Technician is a consultant formed by PEFC for the suitability to forest well-being and CSEN as a DBN Forest Bathing Operator who works directly and/or in collaboration with other professionals in the field.
If you already have PEFC certification for sustainable forest management
- may be also evaluated the certification in the Recreation Ecosystem Services of the PEFC Standard for Forest Health.
- The evaluation can be carried out together with the consultant of the area by our CSEN Forestry Wellness Technician regarding the activity of the Forest Bathing.
- If considered appropriate, the certification and a certificate will be issued with project reports including:
- Check rating list
- Final analysis of suitability
If you do not have PEFC certification for sustainable forest management
in this case the evaluation if the characteristics of the area identified are in line with the PEFC standard for the suitability to forest well-being, will be carried out by the CSEN Forestry Welfare Technicians with a methodology of analysis and documentation related to that provided by PEFC but more oriented to the practice of Forest Bathing and eco-tourism.
If considered appropriate, a certificate and a certificate will be issued project reports including:

Promotes the Forest Bathing and facilitates contact between owners of areas and professionals.
Does not enter the merit the technical evaluation carried out by the consultants.
It transmits to professionals the evaluation requests for certification and/or certification received.
Stay foreign to any commercial or consulting relationship between owner and professional.
